Nirvana Memorial Park (Ijok)
A vision of grandeur and classical charm
The first memorial park in Malaysia by Nirvana Asia Group to combine contemporary aesthetics with thematic landscaping, Nirvana Memorial Park (Ijok) draws its inspiration from the Six Dynasties period fable, “The Peach Blossom Spring” by recreating a utopian paradise set amidst the scenic panorama of Kuala Selangor’s Ijok township. Featuring beautiful classical architecture with contemporary sensibilities, part of its attraction is the 350-meter long path lined by rosy trumpet trees that evokes a vision of the peach blossom lined passageway described in the fable.
This scenic path culminates at the Oriental Water Sanctuary, a collection of columbaria designed in the neo-Oriental style reminiscent of ancient water towns such as Suzhou, Hangzhou, and Huizhou, complete with Jiangnan-style gatehouses and moon gates. These traditional architectural elements not only reinforce the concept of “returning home to one’s roots” but also evoke the imagery of an ethereal paradise where the worries of the mundane world are forgotten.

这条风景秀丽的花道终将引向「桃源水乡」，一个以苏州、杭州和徽州等古代水乡设计为概念的新中式风格骨灰殿，间中镶嵌江南风韵门楼和洞门。这些传统的建筑元素除了蕴藏着“落叶归根”的概念，空灵的世外桃源景象也让人们能够于此忘却世俗的烦恼。
